Practical answers to help you plan a comfortable session for your dog.
How do we choose a Northern Beaches photo location?
Start with your dog’s comfort: their confidence around other dogs, mobility, preferred surroundings and travel needs. We agree on a suitable location together and check dog access and photography rules before booking. Explore our Northern Beaches outdoor sessions for what to expect.
Where in Sydney are you based, and is travel included?
Puparazzi is based in Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Dee Why and locations within 10 km are included. For a session further away, share your suburb and preferred location when you enquire; additional travel is quoted before booking.
How much does a Puparazzi dog photography session cost?
Collections start at $199 AUD for 30 minutes, one dog and 10 edited digital images. The Story is $299 and The Heirloom is $449. See all collection inclusions to compare session lengths, dog numbers and the included print.
My dog won’t sit still. Is that okay?
Yes. Movement and curiosity are part of the story. We work with your dog’s energy, with patient guidance, breaks and favourite rewards.
Does my dog need to be off lead?
No. Safety comes first, and dogs can stay on lead. We plan compositions around it and discuss whether lead removal is possible for selected images.
Where can we have our session?
Beach, studio or nature settings can be discussed when you enquire. We agree on a suitable location together. Dee Why and locations within 10 km are included; travel beyond this area is quoted before booking. A beach location is only chosen where dogs and photography are permitted.
What if it rains?
We check the weather together before the session. If conditions are unsuitable for a comfortable, safe shoot, we find another date.
Can I be in the photographs too?
Yes. The Story and The Heirloom include time for dogs and their people. Simple, comfortable clothing in neutral colours photographs beautifully.
When will I receive my photographs?
The provisional turnaround is two to three weeks for your selection gallery. Delivery dates and print timing are confirmed when you book.
Do you photograph anxious or senior dogs?
Tell us what makes your dog comfortable. We can plan a quieter location, extra breaks and a gentler pace around their needs.
How do I book?
Send an enquiry with your preferred collection, date and a little about your dog. We will discuss the location and availability with you. Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a date.
